I saw a pic that Shirley was wearing the same outfit and hairdo in London, if I'm not wrong, in Brixton

Yes, they are from Brixton. A friend of mine took the pictures. He won some contest and was lucky enough to go in during soundcheck. Thats what the top picture is from. The rest are from the show later that night.

I'm pretty sure that outfit she's wearing in the first image is, or is similar to what she wore for the last scene in the WDYLM video, if any of my video friends care to correct me.

The rest are from the show later that night. Hey thanks for the cool pictures, notlaverne, however I believe you have made a mistake on the pictures. The first one is probably Brixton, but the rest definitely are not. I have a DVD of the entire concert and the clothes that Shirley and Duke are wearing in those pictures are completely different to what they wore at Brixton. Also the stage is much larger than what is shown on the bottom pictures. BTW, I got the DVD direct from the taper himself, so I seriously doubt the date/venue was mismarked. Also, if there was a mistake on the dates/venue of my DVD, it would have been corrected by now by the hundreds/thousands of people who have seen it. That DVD has been in circulation for almost a year now. Also, you can look here at this website to see pictures taken from Brixton on June 9th, 2005: www.phatfotos.co.uk/final/f_garbage/ Again, the clothes that Shirley and Duke wear are completely different to your pictures. In addition, notice that Shirley had the braids in her hair on the left side during the whole Brixton concert. In all your pictures, except for the top one, she doesn't have those braids. Can you ask your friend again what show those bottom pictures are really from? You've got me curious. Thanks again! |

Great Photos.... I was at the Scala gig... the venue is quite small especially compared to Brixton Academy. Both gigs were brilliant probably the best I have seen them play.

yeh i loved Brixton it was wicked - shame that I was only able to get seating tickets at the last minutre - equally irritating i bought tickets for hammersmith good and early in standing and oh they cancelled it!!!
