Seems like everyone had a lot of fun! *dies of jealousy*
Hey, how about Melatonine? The singer must have been really excited to open for garbage...

In short I could have carred less for the opener. I made out wth my wife during that time. Garbage came on and it was a fucking rock show. The crowd went apeshit the whole time. You will love this show.

The opening act was really good, I think the audience loved them. The lead singer is an absolute Garbage fan and realised her dream, which was to open for them. Shirley even said a word or two to thank her. During the first three songs of their set, Duke was lurking on the left side of the back stage to watch them and he really seemed to love them to.

haha duke seems to like doing that! the only time I ever saw garbage live, they were playing after no doubt and from where I was I could see him trying to peek through the curtains. He gave it up after a minute or two though!

Did they make any changes to the old songs?? I mean I'm particulary curious about Stupid Girl. Did they perform it the same way as during BG tour??? and what about Queer?

No big changes to the old songs. I just think they used more the live instruments than before, putting aside the electronic parts a bit more than before, but that's my impression.
Stupid Girl 2005 sounds the same as that of the BG tour, with the slow bridge between the verses and the chorus.
The intro to HIMH is shorter, but much better in my opinion. Duke progressively slaps riffs on his guitar to finally play it frantically until the main beats start.
The played the album version of Queer. Not the Danny Saber remix.

No pics, sorry I didn't take my camera because I thought it'd be forbidden, but I found out the guys at the entrance of the venue didn't mind. The opener was a french band called Melatonine, it was a really good band to open for Garbage. The lead singer is a Garbage fan, and she said her dream came true when she learnt she would open for them. They opened for Good Charlotte the night before in the same venue.
