OK so the Philadelphia presale tickets are sold out. The sale to the public is Fri at noon. Anyone know if there is another presale, like at 10AM where you can get tickets if you know a password?

I wish Garbage would announce all their god damn dates. I mean if they aren't gonna come here, I'd go to this gig.
*Shakes fist* Goddamn you G!

Been reading that the TLA is usually general admission, so there is no advantage to the presale opportunity other than you got 'em a day early. What do you think, purchase over the internet? Or try TicketMaster by phone. Maybe do both at the same time? How fast will the TLA sell out. Anyone know the size of the venue? Theater like that, could be 1200 seats?

Shit, just did a little google research, seems the TLA seats 400. Damn, getting tickets could be really, really tough.

Yeah I skipped my 8AM class so I could stay home and order my tix. My dad yelled at me because he said that no one would be buying them. So I got to laugh in his face when they sold out at 9:24. Asshole.
Anyway, the TLA is TINY, so seeing G there will be amazing. How many songs do they usually perform? I've only seen them when they opened for No Doubt.

April 26, 2002 - they did 20 songs at the Electric Factory. October 15?, 2002 - 10 songs opening for No Doubt. (can't find my ticket stub for the Spectrum show.)

This is a much smaller venue than Garbage usually plays that's why it's a special show I bet Y100 got most of the tix

OK I'm going to the TLA. I got 4 tickets. So I'll be the short old guy with the wife and two teenagers. This will be so cool. Garbage is not just for the young-uns, you know. I'm probably closer in age to Butch, Steve & Duke than y'all are, anyway. What an amazing turn of events, I figured it'd be October before they came to Philadelphia.

I'd be willing to pay you like $60 or 70 for it, but I understand you need someone with you.

The Ticketmaster email saying my tickets were printed arrived Monday, March 7. The envelope arrived today, March 12. I bought 'em just past noon on Feb 25. We were just in Philly Thursday to see the Flower Show in morning, then lunch at Moriarty's Pub on Walnut, off to the Salvador Dali exhibit at the Art Museum by 3:30. Of course, we hit the mall at King of Prussia on the way home.
