Cut Copy & The Kills, both next week (different shows). I'm thinking about buying My Bloody Valentine tix for one of their October shows in LA. Oh, and of course I'll be at the Cure show in SD in a few weeks.

Wooohoooo...I'm going to see Filter on Sunday. Might go see Ours Thursday and She Wants Revenge on Saturday, but I'm undecided on those. My company is folding and thus I lost my job so I'm not sure if I want to spend the money for two bands who will surely put on a good show, but I know very little of their catalog.

I wanted to see Filter when they came through Austin but I missed out. I hope you have a good time. It was very good. I got to meet Richard Patrick!!! He came out about 30 minutes after the set and there were only a few people left at the bar. He told a lot of the stories behind the songs and about being in the Exotic Birds and stuff. I think some people mistake confidence + perfectionism for "asshole". He is definitely not an asshole. |
