I think there was some issues with the label. It is officially their second single, Bruise Pristine was their first and then it was reissued after the success of Nancy Boy.

Me neither, It's not that they are sick of it anyway because they played it on the Meds tour.

PLACEBO - THE RETURN! Good news friends - Placebo are back in the studio working on a new album! The band finished the last touring campaign in September of last year in the USA (on the Projekt Revolution tour with Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance) and since then took some much needed time out, and over the past couple of months have been hard at work writing and demoing the new material in London. The boys are now recording with producer David Bottrill (the man behind Tool's 'Aenima', 'Salival' and 'Lateralus' albums, Silverchair's 'Diorama' and dEUS 'The Ideal Crash'). Engineering the album is James Brown who worked with the band on 'Meds'. ……….And on the drums with Placebo…….. ??!!!!! Introducing.…..Mr Steve Forrest! From Modesto, California. Previously the drummer with the American rock band, 'Evaline'. Some of you may have spotted Steve playing with Evaline supporting Placebo on their US tour in October 07. www.placeboworld.co.uk/news/index.html

Also...
it has been confirmed that Placebo are currently in Toronto, Canada doing additional recording:
On a recent trip to Toronto, I ran into queer guitarist Stefan Olsdal from the British alternative-rock trio Placebo. He said they were in Canada recording new album with a new drummer. The already written material will have a rock edge to it in the style of PJ Harvey and My Bloody Valentine. Olsdal also promises that Placebo will take to the road again soon.

I did indeed! haha... I got it professionally done with a nice black frame to compliment the picture. Probably one of my most prized posessions. It's funny too because 2 weeks after I got the poster Steve left the band so I have the signatures of the full original Placebo line up! I'll try get a picture uploaded here soon!

last year i went to see placebo here in the states. they were on linkin park's project revolution tour. after their set they did an autograph signing. they were selling copies of "meds" to be signed. they also had promo posters. i knew andy was a big fan because of all his postings. so i got one signed for him and shipped it over.
