i think its about time a thread was made about this woman of the sublime! haha Quick News Overview:Her second album is complete and ready to hit the shelves. She is not joining the Pumpkins in their re union (as of yet). She worked with Corgan on one track on her new record. im getting the album when it hits the shelfs i doubt i will read up on any of the speculation and as there is no date yet on release im not getting my hopes up just yet.

i think this is the only album this year that doesnt even have a provisional date! even absolute garbage has date set(despite being wrong!) and its not even finished yet!

nothing finer than a hot chick playing the bass. you got that right! im getting angsty now that there is no sign of the record coming out any time soon. its ridiculous, the album is mixed and complete...its just her stupid fucking record company who have put on the shelf. personally, melissa wouldve been a great festival act so it shoulda been any early summer release. but now its looking like a christmas release, if any! |

i love her. she's soo amazing live, no matter what band she's playing with or solo. i can't wait to see when some new material from her surfaces.
btw, anyone hear the french version of "taste you"? brillant - better then the english version by far.

Yeah I really love the French version as well.. I am kind of sucky in French but still love the language  *sigh* so many interesting new releases, so little money... |

Yes, what's the word on this album? The official site hasn't been updated in ages.
Melissa is an amazing musician and very nice person, as well. I met her when she did a small set at a Tower Records in Philadelphia.
And yes, "Taste You (French Version)" is amazing....et je vais t'aveler.
