As soon as pre-orders are available through the band, they will have my money!

So We Can Stay Alive could also be a pretty cool video. I could see that one being like a mini movie. I always picture a lot of strobes for that one during the chorus.

Garbage posted a photo of the book cover to social media today. So this is for real happening. Steve said at one of the VIP Q&As that they really had no idea just how much work it was going to be, especially the writing and editing. They had help with that part, of course. I have no expectations going in and I'm really excited to see what they've put together! Here's pretty much everything we know so far: www.garbagediscobox.com/2016/10/this-is-the-noise-that-keeps-me-awake/

This will take a few more viewings to process. There's a lot going on. That's not a complaint, btw!

They changed it up so Sometimes is the encode opener, followed by Empty and that works much better. Really dislike #1 Crush as the closer. They could swap with Push It or whatever is 4th before the encode break. The 4 they have been doing at the end of the regular set are pretty tiring. HEY YOU KIDS, GET OFF MY LAWN!

It works pretty well. They really work the crowd into a frenzy before the encore break with Push It, Vow, OHWIR, and then Cherry Lips. I don't think I like Sometimes as an opener, but I don't know where else you'd put it. As an opener, it creates more tension... when the band takes the stage, everyone goes nuts and then it dies down for Sometimes before finally erupting for ITIP. It's interesting, but I'm not yet sure if I like that. I do like that they're playing it live.

Welcome! I'm not very familiar with the Atlanta market, nor have I been to the Tabernacle, so I'll answer generally. It really depends on the city, the market, how wide the stage is, how aggressive people are, and whether VIP packages are offered. In cities like LA, fans may wait in line all day to secure a front row spot. In cities where they have a smaller fan base, there may not be as much of a line. With that said, on this tour, VIP packages are for sale. VIPs go in before the rest of the line. If you want to have a better chance at the front row and can afford it, then a VIP package will let you skip the general line and gives you a better chance at front row. The packages are available here: www.adventuresinwonderland.com/t/garbageThe packages don't guarantee front row. Some venues may offer "skip the line" passes. If they do, those passes are different than VIP and would probably go in after all the VIPs, but before the general line. I don't have any specific knowledge about whether this is a thing in Atlanta.

I've also had a hard time picking a favorite. I'm leaning toward Amends or So We Can Stay Alive or Empty or ETOLID. *shrug*

It's deliciously dark, yet also has an air of hope. "I know something will probably go wrong and we probably won't make it, but screw it, I don't care."

Paul aka absolutgarbage gave me this info:
Subhuman / #1 Crush Deadwood / Afterglow / possibly 13xForever / apparently 13 and Lick were written deliberately for the single after the album sessions. Begging Bone / Enough / Use Me + Confidence all the BLM b-sides. Not applicable to NYKOP.
He's a human Garbage encyclopedia so I trust this to be accurate.

As we get closer to single and album release dates, the admins would like to politely remind everyone about the rules for posting audio or video...
What's forbidden Posting files of or links to files of officially released studio or live material is forbidden and will likely result in a permanent ban from the message board. Please respect Garbage and the industry staff indirectly supported by the band's releases.
This also includes linking to any website or Facebook group which hosts digital files of officially released studio or live material or links to released material files. If in doubt, please contact an admin before posting.
If it doesn't belong on the board, it doesn't belong in a PM. Please don't use the message board (public posts or private messages) to send or request files that are against the rules.
What is permitted Once the single and further tracks are released, you may link to an official band managed stream (YouTube, Spotify etc). Any other streaming links of officially released content cannot include a download link or option, unless it directs to an online store such as iTunes or Amazon.
Fan recorded live content (audio/video) and recordings of TV/radio interviews/live appearances is of course permitted. Again, if in doubt, contact an admin.
Let's enjoy the ride. The next two months are gonna be Garbage crazy.
Thanks everyone!
