I saw it last week ! I loved it ! I even loved it more than the book, which I found a bit long and boring. But the director, Alfonso Cuarón, knew how to keep a good rhythm throughout the movie. The actors have changed, it's unbelievable. There were already slight differences between episode 1 and 2, but this is another great step in their changes; even their characters seem more mature and subject to questionnings. The Harry Potter movies are getting scarier and darker each time, it's sooo good. Everyone who loved the first two episodes will like this one, and those who hated them will hate this one too. It's basically the same universe, only a bit darker.

Some situations involving the characters are quite funny, and some parts of it look like some teen movie. I can't wait to see the 4th episode. It should be released by the end of 2005 because they shot both episodes at the same time !

I saw that movie with my "date". The theater was too crowded yet people are still fucking talkative!!!
I liked the part where Hermoine and Ron held hands and they look at each other with malice. Also, I love that half-eagle, half-horse creature. I forgot to pronounce the name correctly.
Ahh, Hypogrin?! Or something...

I hated it, I still think the person playing Harry can't act at all, I loved the book though, my favorite in the series.

i really liked it, but a lot of fans are gonna be pissed. i do not like the new director. it's a great movie, if you can get around all the liberties he took (and that's a BIG if). i don't mine taking things outta movies (that's completely necessary, lest the makers think everyone's gonna want a 5 hour movie), but changing/making up situations is pointless. the biggest example (that won't ruin the movie for those who haven't seen) is that landscape. what the FUCK is up with the hogwarts grounds?! since when is hogwarts built on a mountain?! it wouldn't be such a big deal if that were a departure from the books, but in previous movies, you can clearly see that the characters have only to walk across a flat meadow to get to hagrid's hut or the womping willow, and now they're having them climb down steep, rocky slopes. i didn't mind most of the changes, but the left out some integral things towards the end, which bothered me.

I just saw the movie, it's awesome.
I haven't read a single HP book, but I did notice the landscape changes.. I thought the way to Hygrid's place looked oddly different. But it looked really cool. It's not really something to get too hung up on... I agree with the Norwegian reviewers, tho, Herminie is getting sexier. They're all maturing.
