My Danish is a strange language. What do you think about studying Russian instead of French? I like the sound of the Russian language better. French appeals to me too because of all those fancy French words in textbooks, but whenever you try to converse with an actual French person it's impossible...you ever tried it? I'd like to be able to read Nabokov or Gogol in their native language. But what use would a Russian qualification do me in the real world? And where could I practice conversational Russian? Apart from Russia...

Apart from Russia... im not much of a language person, i had french lessons for 5 years and all i can say is "what time is it", "i would like x beers" (x being any number up to 10) and "hello my name is christoffer"... russian is completely out of the picture, a whole new alphabet? i think not... and if you want to see danish just ask jeg fucking hader at repetere til eksamen, det er kedeligt og bare spasser agtigt. yup im bored.

Dumb question time...Is there any other European language that's easy for Danes to understand? Like a neighbouring country or something? Who do the Danes most identify with in Europe? Or does everyone else unite in their hatred of the Brits? Tell me more about your fascinating country...

Tell me more about your fascinating country... fascinating? are you trying to be funny? i dont identify with another country, theres no reason to hate yet another one... swedish and norwegian is easier to understand, though i found norwegian easier to understand than swedish.

Chris is a Danish love-God and no mistake. All this and Chemistry too. Think of all the people he could knock off for you with impunity. Poisons that can't be traced. Cheap speed and morphine. He's your man.
