I voted for all the above...usually when I buy cheese I don't really pay much attention to where it is from...just as long as it is made good. mmmm....brie.

I do too, but I tend to like the local cheeses. Except for Extra Sharp Cheddar. No one knows how to make that except the people in Wisconsin. Aged 2 years or more of course. California Colby, and Gouda are really creamy and smooth.

I know you were. Guess what the other half of my ancestory is? I do have a great great grandmother who was American Indian. So that is 1/16 American Indian for me. But it is easier to do the math excluding that.

i'm 1/2 scottish, 1/2 american. i don't know the history before that... i think my scottish side is pretty much 100% scottish though, with all the traditional names and stuff. i've got a clan tartan and everything ;D but i don't know why i'm writing this.

In other words you are avoiding the question I asked. Half American? The only true Americans are the American Indians. Everyone else came from over the pond. My family has been in this country since the early 1700's.

Traced my roots back to a herdsman named Johan who lived in the Bavarian Alps. That was around 1680, we couldn't go back any farther than that becuase he never wrote down who his parents were anywhere.
