The BUTG 12-inch single was the first thing I ever bought off of eBay back in 2002.

Well i have all albums, videos, many many live, unfortunately no singles...are rare to find FallenAngel In the last year or so there have been a LOT of Italian sellers springing up on eBay (which is good for you since a lot of international sellers dont ship to Italy because of customs problems)..right now there are a good number of Paranoid, World is Not Enough and Cherry Lips singles from Italy on eBay. Which is good, considering they were Garbages big hits over there.

Tonight I decided I was going to get around to cross-checking my inventory of Garbage collection (Ive lost track of what Ive bought in the last few years, what Ive replaced and what I need to replace/upgrade to better copies). All my stuff had been placed into a few large boxes and put in the attic around a year ago when I moved house, and its taken me til now to get roudn to bringing them back down into my room.
Well I cross-checked everything and discovered I had about 20 things more than I thought, because I hadnt updated my list I keep in Word regularly, plus I had a lot more doubles than I thought (mostly because I won an eBay auction that had a spare copy with something I actually wanted OR because I replaced something, forgot I had replaced it and then bought a new copy).
Then after checking them, I separated them all into a new organisational method. Before I pretty much kept them stored by format (CDs in one box, vinyls in another etc) this time, I grouped them by era. One box for the debut album, one box for V2.0, and one box containing everything from BG/BLM and AG, and then another box for everything I had by The Mackenzies, Angelfish, FireTown, compilations and misc stuff. Now Ive just got to sort out my t-shirts, sort out all my posters - Im thinking I might take photos of each poster and then print out a label with the picture to help identify whats in each tube - and sort out all my magazine clippings. Seriously... magzine clippings and keeping them filed away began to really get difficult about 4 years ago and Ive just stacked magazines, meaning to do it since, and they are the height to my knee now. So much to do.
I want to build a display cabinet to house as much as I can, something that can show off the best parts of my collection.

So much to do. I want to build a display cabinet to house as much as I can, something that can show off the best parts of my collection. I basically did the same thing today but just with my Trash items collection. Haven't updated my Garnage items list for quite some time - I keep it in excel as it is easier for me to filter/sort all the information. On a side note, a few days ago I was a bit bitter that I was outbid for the Trash 20 Push it T-shirt... well, seems like the winner of the bidding didn't pay so I got a second chance offer and I got the shirt! Really happy about it ;D Now I'm missing only Trash01 from the whole collection but to be honest I doubt I'll ever get it since I've seen it up for sale just a few times and it always went out for some ridiculous prices which I'm defintely not prepared to pay.

Does anyone here keep track of their collection using Discogs? (www.discogs.com)

I would...but I'd have to spend such a long time adding releases to the discogs site that I'd go crazy...plus I also have a lot of memorabilia to keep track of.

Does anyone here keep track of their collection using Discogs? (www.discogs.com) I started to but like Paul I have too much stuff and too much stuff isn't listed on the site - my collection is on my blog though

Your collections must contain rarer items than mine, I haven't had much problems yet finding the items I have on there.

Thats a pdf of roughly everything I have (up to about summer of this year) but its not been updated with anything I discovered or amended doing that inventory. Plus some of my doubles arent accurate as Ive traded a few over the years and not kept a proper note of those either..... Attachments:

I guess the lists of stuff that you two don't have would be shorter than the lists of your collections! ;D
