Ok this teaser clip just posted kinda hurts my ears (Nice editing Sophie ) youtu.be/1jOQQ2desOkMy best guess is this means a track featuring the Screaming Females slated for a Record Store Day release this year? Is that reaching? It's hard to tell but the piano clip at around 1:00 sounds like "Because The Night"; could just be lifted from a jam, or perhaps they are releasing a proper cover? The latter conclusion would explain why the promo clip is chopped up within an inch of its life. Looking forward to hearing whatever this is in full. thoughts?

I love how they are doing collaborations! They rarely do that!

I adore this video. It has an odd yet powerful intensity to it. I think they're definitely recording a version of "Because the Night"; which would be beyond amazing considering how brilliant their live versions were together. I assume it's for Record Store day as well. But who knows. I'm just happy that they're aware that this is the kind of stuff their fans want to see.

it absolutely was "because the night". i'll be curious to see what becomes of this. if it is a record store release, hopefully there will be longer length videos to accompany it.

Can't imagine they'd bring in the big guns (Sophie Muller) for something little.

Maybe it's just the rehearsal before they perform the song live.

So, it was finnaly comfirmed by the band via e-mail. The RST release is a 10' vinyl featuring 3 tracks:
Beacuse the night feat screaming females. Automatic Systematic Habit (the remix contest winer) Love Like Suicide.

Have to admit, kinda dissappointed. Looking forward to the cover but had myself geared up for the unreleased session tracks.

They did it in Austin too. It was awesome. Shirley made a comment that it turned her on to see her band play with another chick! Hahaha! I am excited to snag a copy although I wish they would just sell it in their online store. Record store day is over rated because it just means long lines and panic, people trying to find what they want when there are only a copy or 2 of each title in stock. Although since I actually got to meet the band on record store day last year i'm spoiled rotten! Lol
