I can't believe people have Sex Never Goes Out of Fashion as their least liked b-side.
When it was first released as a b-side, I had it on a loop for about a week solid, and I was LMAO the whole time. I'm pretty sure it's a joke song for the band, and I'm in on the joke.
The lyrics are just.....HILARIOUS. Even better was when a poster on the now defunct official Garbage message board misinterpreted the line "You're as good as the next for a fun time" as "You're as good as the next for a fountain" - hahahaha! And what in the world is "country style"? Then to top it off, a pale, redheaded Scottish woman saying "hungry sista"? Hahaaaaaaaaaaa!
"If I seem a little strange, well that's because I am." - Morrissey "Sometimes I can fake a smile, but still the world looks down on me." - Jesus & Mary Chain

Garbage: A Stroke Of Luck Version 2.0: Hammering In My Head (if I had to pick one. I loved it for years, but find myself skipping most of the time nowadays.) beautifulgarbage: Untouchable (never liked it. not one bit.) Bleed Like Me: Right Between The Eyes (never hit me.) B-Side: Soldier Through This (never understood the appeal. it's quite dull.) Remix: Any of the Todd Terry ones for Stupid Girl.

Felt is actually becoming one of my favourite tracks on NYKOP. I definitely appreciate the shoegaze trowbacks with a Garbage twist to them. Initially I was a bit annoyed that I can't understand the lyrics but now that I 've read the booklet and actually know them I love the overall mysterious sound. The track is definitely a grower.
Dance Away: reporting in, ...sahhh-lute!!! I love this board, and, I love the Garbage mystique. I'm viewing this board with black background and red text. It's so "Batman" and when I return to this board I feel like I'm returning to the batcave. Peace Love & Underst

Dance Away: And, Elvis Costello's wife is Diana Krall. Oh god, do I love the music of Diana Krall! And, I know it's an aspiration of Shirley to do the kind of music that Krall is doing. Shirley's mother was a 'big band' music singer (sample "Glenn Miller" big band)

david0913: Oh my, this is too deep to believe; the amount of conceptualization and depth of the discourse can only make me feel...what do you guys talk about on here, anything [sigh]?

orthodoxparadox36: I think that album actually saved, well, a few of the most important things in my life. I am eternally grateful for the way you all chose to dedicate your collective creative genius; something which makes it that much more special, not to mention, genuine!
