www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMQ4dF4iT_g&list=UUC_sZWho is playing Duke's parts? It's obviously no one on the stage. Do you think they took a soundboard recording from a previous night and piped it in? Did Duke record his bits from home and send the files back to the band? Was Billy sitting off stage trying to play Duke's bits to the best of his ability?

They didn't appear to try anything fancy...as Butch said in their radio interview, they just "powered thru it" without Duke. I'm sure they rearranged a few things, and the songs all sounded a bit different...but not bad. They also seemed to avoid all of the new stuff other than Blood for Poppies. It was a 45 minute, and I think they played whatever they thought would sound ok.

It was great, but you could tell a void in some parts of some songs. I can't wait to see them all together again, it will be epic!

I may have missed this somewhere on the site, but who played Duke's parts? On youtuve vids of edgefest2012 I saw no replacement musician. But "Push It" clearly had both Duke and Steve's parts.

I was at Edgefest and there was no one else playing....they simply had Steve and Eric. In person the songs did all sound a bit different...not sure how they modified the arrangement for "Push It". However, they still sounded great!

That is really strange to not have a replacement musician. I'm sure they could have found someone to learn those parts in only a few days. But i guess if the audience didn't mind...
