WTF? Where has the quality that Toyota has been known for for 20 years or more. Now it is the Corolla. Power sterring this time. Has the Japanese giant finally getting caught up in the cost savings production cuts they have made progressively over the last 5 years in order to increase profits? I think so. My first new car I bought when I was 19 was a Toyota Celica. I beat that baby up, and put 100,000 miles on it in the first year I had it. The only part I needed to replace was the clutch. I sort of burnt it to a crisp driving the car into the ground. It never gave me a single problem.

In a month you'll be able to walkout of a dealership with a brand new Toyota for$12K. This is going to hurt their sales a lot.

So far people say it's not hurting their opinion of Toyota. But you know it is. The people who died of the sticking gas pedal panicked and drove themselves into the accidents. They didn't turn off the car, or put it in nuetral. But, clearly Toyota is at fault because of faulty parts.
