Really sad! Same thing that took my father. From the time my father found out he had pancreatic cancer to the day he died was around a month. Swayze must have found out about it early on to have lived this long. either thast or he was one tough SOB. He will be missed! WOLVERINES!

I'm gutted...was feeling so happy today, just got Alphabeat tickets and had decided on a theme for my college practical class and had a greta night of alcohol last nite.....
I feel like a part of my childhood is gone, Dirty Dancing was my fave film from 1988 thru to the mid-90s and I can watch it time and time again. In fact, my own first experiences of acknowledging sexuality in general and my own were from watching this film.
I hope the public in the UK buy She's Like the Wind or the Dirty Dancing soundtrack en masse and gives him a nice send off... RIP Patrick Swayze

In all the coverage of Swayze's passing, I have not heard one mention of Swayze's co-star in the movie Dirty Dancing, ...Jennifer Grey. While Dirty Dancing was playing in the theaters, Jennifer Grey was a Hollywood star in the minds of millions of Americans. Dirty Dancing [and Ferris Bueller's Day Off] made Jennifer Gray a Hollywood star. But then Jennifer Grey got a nose job, and it changed her facial appearance so much that people were unable to recognize her as the actress who co-starred with Swayze in Dirty Dancing. After that nose job, Jennifer Grey's show biz career in Hollywood dried up overnight. People literally didn't recognize who she was after that nose job! Swayze's death is now proving that most Americans have forgotten Jennifer Grey. So, with Swayze's passing, my memory of Jennifer Grey is weighing heavy on my mind. To me it's very sad and most unfortunate that when the movie Dirty Dancing is being spoken of in Swayze's passing, Jennifer Grey is not being cited as having been Swayze's co-star in that movie.
