Everytime she performed Trip My Wire she messed with the lyrics... And when they performed in France in the BG era she changed the lyrics "boys... girls" of Androgyny into "filles... garçons..."

No the best one was "Boys, Girls, ...Sarah" or "Boys, Girls, ...Elfie" for her sister and her one of the old school fans (who seems to have dissapeared off the place of the earth)

I miss Elfie! I kinda lost touch with her when I moved into the city in late 2005 and had little access to the net for around a year or so, but I miss chatting for hours about everything little inane thing about Garbage. I got to meet her in London Brixton Acad after the June 9th show, and she was lovely but I don't think she could understand my Scottish accent (mines is different to Shirley's, I'm clyde valley, Shirley's is a lothian/east coast accent!)

I wish I understood how fans like that made that kinda connection with the band.
I always wanted to talk to her but I guess getting into the band so late never had the chance.

Here's the lyrics of Trip My Wire (live version) I found: ''Be easy on me, I'm fragile I'm easily broken, be evil with me I'm a fighter, you're a cheat, and you're a liar I don't need this anymore This is not what I came for I won't stand for this at all I won't see you anymore (and all you do is) get burned, get burned get burned Be easy on me, don't trip my wire 'Cause I'm a drunk and you're a trier Be easy on me, trip my wire I'm a freak, and I'm on fire I don't need this anymore This is not what I came for I won't stand for this at all I won't see you anymore (and all you do is) Get burned, Get burned Get burned... (Be careful with me, I'm fragile I'm a bitch babe, and you're a liar) Burn, Burn, Burn, and Burn Trip, Trip, trip, tripping on my wire, and oh my well then Baby I'm a spider Keep, keep, keep, on tripping on my wire You can light my friend and baby I'm a fighter [I'm a drunk drunk drunk, but you are even drunker] You're a cheap, cheap, cheap, and baby on my wire And I will think, think, think, but baby I'm a fighter Be careful with me, be careful with me, be careful with me I'm fragile You'll still keep trip, tripping on my wire I'm a freak, freak, freak, but Baby I'm on fire I don't need this anymore This isn't what I came here for.. You'd better trip trip tripping on my wire You'd better grip grip gripping on it tighter''

I like the Irvine 99 TMW where she sings "WEll the train train train coming down the tracks, you took my baby but never again...you took my baby BUt NEVER AGAIN" from the song Mystery Train which is most famously known as an Elvis single, and incidentally also a Goodbye Mr Mackenzie cover

I loved how when performing #1 crush during the NYKOP tour, she ad-libbed a sample from Madonna.
Also, the way she said "My God! I'm Pregnant!" during their most recent live performance of When I Grow Up was pretty awesome.
It's the last song of the setlist

Yes I love some of the little ad-libs
- like when performing Control during the recent Vive Latino - when she sings the lyric 'I confess I lost control, I let my guard down, I let the truth out ... so sue me!' lol, loved that!
