What the hell happened with Manson's last album? The era was literally over in like a month!
I read or heard something where he said he thought this last album was one of his best. I guess in a way, it could be for him, since it was very personal, given the events in his life. I sort of took it as his rebirth, or attempt to be reborn into something. It's not one of my favorites, but there are a couple of songs I like on it a lot, like Evidence in particular. When I saw him in concert, it wasn't just music off that album that he played, which I really appreciated, since I had not seen him before, and was looking forward to hearing his older stuff. I just recently picked up 'The Long Road Out of Hell' and am anxious to read it when I go on vacation in a couple of weeks. Manson really fascinates me, and I'd be interested to know where he's really coming from, in regards to his older music. It will help put into perspective for me where he's at now, with his writing. But, to be completely honest, I'm glad Twiggy's back because I hope he goes back to his older sound and comes out with a new album.

Dance Away: And, Elvis Costello's wife is Diana Krall. Oh god, do I love the music of Diana Krall! And, I know it's an aspiration of Shirley to do the kind of music that Krall is doing. Shirley's mother was a 'big band' music singer (sample "Glenn Miller" big band)

orthodoxparadox36: I think that album actually saved, well, a few of the most important things in my life. I am eternally grateful for the way you all chose to dedicate your collective creative genius; something which makes it that much more special, not to mention, genuine!
