Got the tickets. Plus two more SSPU shows. One in San Diego, and one in Vegas. Same place the infamous Garbage show was. So it should be a good show.

Blondie and The Pretenders are touring in December. Tickets aren't on sale til next week but I'm so freakin excited. Every time Blondie's toured I've either had another concert or couldn't afford it. It's at my favourite venue too, it's small-ish, gonna be awesome. Just hope they don't end up having to change to a larger venue.

I'd love to see Blondie and The Pretenders. I keep missing them when they play in Glasgow for whatever reasons but some day.
Once i get paid I think I'm going to buy tickets to see Manic Street Preachers and Ellie Goulding in the autumn. I stopped going to see concerts for a few years (except Garbage, which says a lot about how many gigs I go to) but I'm trying hard to get back into seeing bands live. Sometimes it was just because there wasnt many acts that I'd pay to see.

Hope you get the cash!
Got the tickets in the presale, can stop freaking out now. Ordering tickets always stresses me out, always get scared something's gonna fuck up and I won't get them. From what it says about it on Ticketek, it's a theatre gig so hopefully they won't have to go to a larger venue.

I have myself under a concert embargo for all of 2010, due to money and how much I spent on shows (and show-related expenses) last year. And I'm not happy about this. So instead, here are the shows I would be going to if I could:
Stone Temple Pilots Weezer the Bonaroo festival THE GLEE TOUR! possibly adam lambert blondie (though the only show within a reasonable distance for me is a gig by themselves, and I'd rather hold off, anyway, to see them with someone else. in other parts of the usa, they're playing with the b-52's!!) lady gaga
thoroughly annoyed.

God, I'm jealous. I've never seen them live. Never thought I'd be able to, and now they've gotten back together, and I've missed 3 different chances to see'em since they've reunited.
I heard their new album's pretty good. Is that correct?

Stone Temple Pilots. Excellent rock band from the U.S. They broke up when the frontman couldn't clean up his little heroin problem but got back together in the last few years, and I hear they're in top form. I wouldn't know, though! haha

Hey Dan, where did you see STP? I saw them at the KROQ Weenie Roast. BTW Silversun Pickups just added four more tour dates today. Spokane, Reno, Oakland, and Los Angeles. YES!!! Looks like I am going to another SSPU show this year. That will make 4 times. They were at the Weenie Roast too.

I just got two tickets to see Hole at First Avenue. That place is the bees knees. So here's what's on the schedule at the moment:
The Sky & the Execution, July 2, Summerfest, Milwaukee Hole, July 16, First Avenue, Minneapolis Thrill Kill Kult / Lords of Acid, July 23, Ground Zero, Minneapolis (if I don't go to San Diego to see the TSCC mobile billboard driving around at Comic Con) Jungle Rot, July 28, Station 4, St. Paul Jungle Rot, July 29, Eau Claire, WI (maybe) I:Scintilla, July 31, Club ?, Milwaukee Cyanotic / Unter Null, Aug 7, Ground Zero, Minneapolis
I've never seen Lords of Acid or Thrill Kill Kult before, so that will be fun. I've heard mixed reviews on both bands live shows, but I don't care. I want to see them. And it's the original lineups, I believe.
